IEEE Accomplishments (S'93-M'98-SM'03):

Created and chaired the IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Conference, 2014-15

Executed a successful 20th anniversary program for IEEE Women in Engineering 

Created and launched a comprehensive business plan for IEEE Women in Engineering

Wrote and published five e-books for IEEE-USA:

Chaired the 2010 IEEE-USA Annual Meeting in Nashville, TN that drew the highest attendance in last 10 years and had prestigious keynote speakers including Norm Augustine and Ed Gordon

Successfully led the launch of the first edition of the on-line IEEE-USA in Action newsletter

Successfully organized a full-day, pilot, Computer Society chapter-chair training program held jointly with the Region 1 Workshop in 2010

Spearheaded pilot Member Visitor Program (MVP) for IEEE Computer Society leading to over 20 visits by IEEE members to other sections during their normally planned trips, vacations, etc.

Led executive committee as Oklahoma City Section Chair during 2004 for which the section won the 2005 RAB Outstanding Small Section Award

Organized a profitable Technical Conference for 2007 IEEE-USA Annual Meeting leading to recognition with the 2008 IEEE-USA Professional Achievement Award for Individuals

Doubled the number of affinity groups (from 3 to 6) when serving as the Region 5 Women in Engineering coordinator

Led District 45, Area 14 to Distinguished Area Award
